What We Found on a Local Manufacturer’s Website

We recently helped a local Brantford manufacturer take a closer look at their website, and right away we found something the owner didn’t even know was there.

The site was still advertising the freelancer from India who originally built it, with links pointing visitors away from the manufacturer’s business.

The website itself was also starting to show its age. The GUI was outdated, the structure was limited, and there was no simple way for the company to regularly add fresh content.

We’re now working on a completely updated version with plans to launch in September.

One of the biggest improvements will be giving them the ability to easily post articles, company updates, new capabilities and monthly content.

That alone gives Google a lot more information to work with.

There’s no magic button with SEO, but a modern site, better structure and consistent new content should definitely move them in the right direction.

Sometimes the biggest website problems are the ones a business owner doesn’t even know are there.
